- The shipment consisted of five reactors with the total weight of 2,771 t. The heaviest reactor weighed 778,16 t measuring 43.13 x 7.50 x 7.30 m. Heaviest reactors were loaded in the shallow draft port of Ortona with only 5.60 m water depth.

When shallow ports meet heavy lift cargo, our specialist vessels and crew are required. Throughout the loading of these five reactors, the crew had to operate with caution (as always in heavy lift operations), in the port of Ortona as the vessel has marginal under keel clearance. We completed this shipment (5 x reactors, 6 x absorbers and 14 x aux spares) for the Al Zour Project on behalf of Agility for Tecnicas Reunidas (TR) and for end client KNPC. The shipment consisted of five reactors with a total weight of 2771 t.
The heaviest reactor weighed 778,16 t and measured 43.13 x 7.50 x 7.30 m and was loaded in Ortona with only 5.60m water depth. The remaining cargo was loaded in Porto Marghera before the vessel sailed from Italy to Shuaiba, Kuwait.
